Arab Excellence is an initiative to create a plateform of self-made positive role models from the Arab world. The main goal is to help inspire other Arab youth and especially disadvantaged children by showing them Arab success stories and honoring Arab achievements worldwide, in the hope of showing more tangible examples of Arab intellectual, artistic and entrepreneurial contributions. Arab Excellence has conducted or has planned interviews with more than 55 great Arab role models in different countries including: Zaha Hadid: 1st woman to obtain the Pritzker Price: Nobel Prize of Architecture (UK) Ahmed Zewail: Nobel Prize of Chemistry 1999 (USA) Fadi Ghandour: Founder and CEO of Aramex, first Arab company to be listed on the NASDAQ (Jordan) Said Aouita: 5 World Olympic records, one of the first globally known Arab sportpeople (Morocco) Omar Samra: First Egyptian and youngest Arab to climb the Everest and to become and astronaut (Egypt) On top of documentaries, conferences and publications, Arab Excellence is also developing an educational and training program based on the real experiences and stories of these Arab Excellence figures worldwide. The aim is to help students and trainees nurture the mindset of Excellence and provide them with different ways of achieving it.
